Cerca hotel in Contea di Brown

“Very similar to other campgrounds but it did have some privacy.”

“The room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.”

“My daughter loved the eggs served at breakfast every morning. Owners were very welcoming, and helpful of things to do in the area”

“BIG, spacious rooms at a hotel that appears to be a converted apartment complex. Our room had a private balcony, a great view, a full kitchenette with dishwasher, stove and microwave, and a TV with a LOT of channels. The furnishings are a bit dated, but that was no bother for us. We appreciated the very spacious room, friendly staff, easy parking, proximity to shops and dining, things to do (the pool & hot tub were closed for maintenance on our visit, but are often available, plus a gathering...

“Refrigerator was not working, ended up with spoiled food. Bathroom sink was stopped up. Cable tv was terrible, couldn’t watch college football. All in all, won’t be staying at Choice hotels anymore.”

“Building is somewhat run down and staff were non-communicable. The room wasn’t as horrible as the building indicated but it was a bit dark. All in all it could have been a little nicer but it wasn’t the worst.”

“The location of The Artist Colony couldn’t be better. Right in the middle of town so it was very easy to take our packages back or take a short break. The rooms are all upstairs but there is an elevator to get our luggage to our room. We did enjoy sitting out on the balcony. There is also a restaurant on the main level which we tried twice. I was disappointed in both my meals but there are several others close by. I would definitely stay there again mainly due to the location.”

“Curtains half off window had to be closed with a hair clip. Toilet did not flush properly. Bed side table had bits of dead flowers, bit of trash under edge of bed. No phone to contact desk. Bed was hard with stained bedding. No one in office to make aware of concerns/problems. Office door still locked after 9am with no staff located on site. Absolutely would never stay or recommend.”

“The property needed a little love, but it was a nice stay. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub and the location to the town was great. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool was cold, but nice to swim in nonetheless. The spot out front with the rocking chairs was nice and we were able to meet some people and make some new friends.”

“It was a clean hotel, very quiet, up to date. I will definitely stay again.”

“Nice location. Room was a little run down looking. Phone didn’t work for calling the front desk. Light switch for above the sink was on motion sensor only with no way to turn off. That’s fine until it’s the middle of the night. When I called the front desk they told me I would have to cover the light switch. You’d think for the price of the rooms they could change out a switch.”

“I drove from New York to Indiana to help my son relocate for work. We booked one night because we were gonna leave out the next day. And then we ended up staying 2 nights, just to get some unfinished Things done before we left. It was super easy, went to the front desk. They rebooked me in the same room. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful, extra towels. Anything we needed every time we walked by the front desk coming and going we were asked again, how everything was, if there needed...

“Clean room and very helpful staff.”
